Mission Statement:
Deora Bodley's Project Team teaches the value of unity and teamwork to youth through creative and interactive group activities.
Project Team's volunteers set the standard for social responsibility
within communities by mentoring youth and addressing issues such as
poverty, hunger, and the environment through various service
initiatives. Project Team's outreach focuses on teamwork as it believes
collaborative effort is the driving force that inspires positive
change.

Deora Bodley's Project Team (DBPT) is a nonprofit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS that brings young adults together to mentor local youth and to work on creating bonds in the communities through service outreach events.
As mentors of local youth, our volunteers serve as positive role models and teach the importance of working together using fun, hands on group activities. In addition,
DBPT creates a network between the students and members of the local communities by joining them together on numerous short term projects, such as park cleanups,
feeding the homeless, and safety awareness. The program relies heavily on the enthusiasm and creativity of its volunteers. There are no clear
boundaries of which DBPT will operate within. We hope to make the largest impact possible and we want to be directly involved in our communities so that
we know how to assess the needs and how to inspire positive change.
In the long term, DBPT hopes to open and run its own after-school community center for elementary-aged youth and spread the Project Team program nationwide.
